HAL-PC's Excel SIG meetings and website are free sources of help for you to use Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications in business and at home. In the SIG meeting, We concentrate on Excel and VBA, but we also work with Access and PowerPoint. We use Excel 2003 in the SIG.  We also help with Excel XP, Excel 2000 and Excel 97.

You do not need to be a member of HAL-PC to attend.  If you like to attend regularly, please apply for a HAL-PC membership.

Build a Mail Merge application that sends account delinquency letters to clients with past Due more than 30 days.

Elements:
Load Client Addresses into Excel from a Tab Delimited File
Have Client Balance Aging table showing age of amount due
Pivot Table showing Balance due by Age.
Create a query to summarize Balance Due by age Range
Create a query identifying Clients needing a letter and amount due
Create a query joining amount due with addresses.
Link MS Word to the final query for a mail merge.

This meeting will use Excel, Access, and Word.
