Hour App: Make your own Add-In.
Why would you want to? When you want to create a subroutine like the Font Size 5 from last month, and use it over and over in many workbooks, you ought to put it into an Add-In. If you put user functions in a common workbook and use them in other workbooks, then you must manage links between workbooks. On the other hand, if you put functions in an Add-In workbook, you never have to worry about links. We will create an add-in to hold some of the financial functions we made for the cash flow model in the first hour. |
