July 11, 2001   Using 1D and 2D Data Tables for Quick Sensitivity Analysis

Example Problem:    You have just been awarded a prize. 
You can accept the money immediately or accept it in installments over time.
The sooner you receive the money, the sooner you can invest it, but it may put you into a higher tax bracket.    What portion of the prize should you receive per year to maximize the value of the prize?   Use Data Tables to find what decisions are good ones.

When I use Autofilter a table, I want my totals to sum on only the rows that pass the filter, i.e. the visible rows.   Use SumProduct in a worksheet and a User Defined Function to  determine which rows are visible.
User Defined Function instead of nested IF statements.   US Federal Tax example
Create a Bubble Chart from Stock data and Label the Bubbles with the Stock Ticker.
